Zulueta Elected President

August 13, 2007 Alexis Alcantara-Zulueta was elected President for the fiscal year 2007-2008 at the annual elections conducted yesterday at the Contra Costa Water District board room.

Alexis is a long-time and hardworking member of the Berkeley chapter and has served in various capacities, latest of which is 1st Vice-President with the outgoing 2006-2007 Board of Directors.  Along with Alexis, the following were also elected: Ceny Duldulao, 1st Vice-President; Lito Utleg, 2nd Vice-President; Henrie Fajardo-Boyd, Treasurer; Daisy Rodriguez, Auditor; Cherry Utleg, Secretary and Rose Ramos, Assistant Secretary.  The slate run unopposed and was elected unanimously by the eligible voters who attended yesterday’s assembly.  Outgoing president Romi Beza will complete the board as Parliamentarian.

The new officers will be officially inducted into office on Saturday August 18 5PM at the Beza residence located at 2890 West Watson Court in Concord.
